EU and NZ balance ambition and macroeconomic outlook

Two well-established emissions trading schemes both have provided insight into how they intend to balance climate goals with anticipated global economic challenges.


The EU ETS signalled agreement between key stakeholders on the expansion of the scope and power of the EU ETS, whereas the smaller NZ market surprised many by opting to not ratchet up their climate ambitions.
